Hi, it’s Dr. Koons again. I want to talk a little bit about what we need to consider as we get near the end of your initial care program. A lot of patients have improved, a lot of people have gotten much better with their symptoms, and they’re able to function a little bit better. So how do we maintain that for a lifetime?
Some people, it might be once a week, we’ll keep them. at a nice, easy, steady state. Some people, maybe it’s once every two weeks. Some people, maybe it’s once every month. People have different needs. Some people, they have a very stressful life. They have a very hectic pace that they live at. Some people, they’ve got a little bit more, um, of this under control.
Maybe they do more exercise. Maybe they do more massage. Maybe they do a little acupuncture. Maybe they do a little bit of nutrition on their own. And then sometimes there’s people in the middle. So the most common are once a week. Once every two weeks and once a month and it really is up to you to find out what works best for you Working with us.
I personally go from treating once a week to sometimes once every couple weeks to once a month Varying what I need but once every two weeks usually does the trick for me now. We are up front We have pro we have sheets that look like this. We’re gonna talk to you the next time you see us It’s various programs we have To discount our care for maintenance patients.
When we get to a point where you’re steady and stable, we can put you on a maintenance program. Now, most insurance companies, at least some insurance companies don’t cover maintenance care. So we have programs like this to cover that. Some insurance companies are a little bit more progressive and do allow for that.
